Cactus Double S Rope

The Double S rope maintains its body run after run. It is also resistant to change in hot or cold weather. This calf rope is part of Stran Smith’s Double S line.

The Double SS is finally a calf rope that is made in the USA! The unique fiber and process used makes the Double SS a rope with no stretch, maintaining its body run after run and it resistant to change in hot and cold weather. One of the best things about this rope is that it has the great feel of a poly-grass without being sensitive to weather changes and it doesn’t have the plastic feel normally associated with poly ropes. Interestingly, the Double SS is one of the few calf ropes where each rope is individually spun. Most calf ropes are cut from a large coil where quality is adversely affected by the length of time the rope stays on the spool. Another convenient feature is the color coding by size using the horn knot.
